I thought this was all hocus pocus!  However, I have a serious update!


Every 8 weeks as a part of my Personal Training plan I track changes in my body composition using the Boditrax system. Essentially this measure what your made of and you can track it over time.

I mentioned at the start of the 28 days that I didn't have a specific weight loss target I just wanted to improve myself.


I've just done my latest measurements. My body weight, fat mass, BMI, degree of obesity and metabolic age have all dropped significantly. Most interestingly my % body fat, which has been consistant at around 16% since January has suddenly dropped to 13.8%.


My trainer looked at me today in utter amazement and asked, "So what's changed?"


I guess that will be the Moong Bean soup?

I tried to get healthy before and it always failed me big time... I have been working with Jo to get back into health for good.

Last few years I had multiple health issues that were affecting my business.

I ended up in the hospital and it was so hard to run a business while getting sick all the time.

I met Jo (the Boss) 4 years ago in London and I knew then my health was not ideal but I thought that Jo’s program a bit woo-woo so did not get involved!!


The great thing about Jo is that she does not give up when she feels she can help so she kept in touch but during this time we lost our grandson – Joshua at 9 months to a complex heart condition. I made a promise to him to set up the Joshua Lynagh Foundation (JLF) as his legacy.


Fast forward to March 2020 and we eventually achieved the Charity Commission registration for the JLF that we had been striving for which coincided with one of Jo’s calls!! I realised at 69 I wanted to be around long enough to see the JLF take off. I was carrying too much weight, I was on medication for many ailments - Blood pressure, High Cholesterol, and medicine for my enlarged prostate.


I agreed to one of the Boss’ Zoom consults and it was agreed that I would join her next Detox program to do a full reset on my body, I also agreed to my goals to reduce my weight from 120kgs to 90kgs (my weight when I was an active sportsman some decades earlier), to come off the prescribed medication and have a healthier diet/life. To my surprise just in the prep phase I lost 10 kg!!


My results during and after the detox were amazing as were my cooking skills!!.


My Blood pressure reduced which led to Dr Kavita Shah (Boss No2) recommending that I cease my Amlodipine medication and reduce the dose of Tamsolosin for my prostate issue.


My cholesterol is pending testing but I know this will be down.


My Weight is down now by 19.5 kg and I have so much more energy and am confident that I can have a healthier life.


After many years I am below a BMI of 30 at 29.17, so officially not obese!! So many results.

joint pain dramatically became less, the clicks in my hip ( I had a hip replacement in July 2019) aren't as noticeable when I walk.

My ankles and legs no longer swell as much and I don't have to wear compression socks. 


The key learning for me from the program is that your Wealth , Business are worthless if your Health does not allow you to enjoy the benefit from both! All in 28 days.
