How To Make Chickpea Flour Fudge

Love Fudge but want a healthier alternative.
This Fudge packs a punch of flavour and will be a favourite in your kitchen cookie tin, for afternoon tea when guests suddenly arrive or a treat on special occasions like Christmas.
Chickpea Flour Fudge Recipe
- 5-6 Table spoons Ghee
- 1 cup Chickpea Flour
- 3/4 to 1 cup coconut sugar or jaggery (alternatively you can use 1:1 ratio of coconut & sugar)
- 1 to 1.5 cups water
- Few chopped mixed nuts
- Pinch of cardamon powder
- Heat ghee over medium heat. Then add chickpea flour to it. Mix it and roast it about 10 minutes or till it’s became brown.
- On the other side boil 1 cup of water. Then add sugar/jaggery and cardamom powder and let it dissolve. Add this syrup into chickpea flour and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes. It will look like a custard. If it’s lumpy break the lump with a whisk.
- Cook it for another 2 to 3 minutes. Then take it off heat. Garnish with nuts
